| Description: | 92 JS / 92 Vm / 91 Wi / 91 Wa / 91 Jd. This has aromas of blackberries, porcini mushrooms, tobacco and charred bark. It's medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins. Savory, with plenty of earth and mineral character. Fresh finish. Drink or hold.-James Suckling. The 2017 Le Pauillac de Chateau Latour is a blend of 52.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39.9% Merlot, and 7.2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet in color, it drifts languorously out of the glass with seductive scents of roses, fallen leaves, tilled soil, and Ceylon tea, giving way to a core of cassis, redcurrant jelly, and raspberry preserves. The medium-bodied palate delivers a firm, fine-grained texture and fantastic freshness to support the delicately styled, tightly wound layers, finishing with a mineral lift. - Lisa Perotti-Brown, Wine Independent. Latour's indecently good 2017 Le Pauillac de Château Latour bursts with fragrant aromas of creamy cassis, wild berries and plums. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and polished, it's supple and succulent, with an enveloping core of fruit, lively acids and already melting tannins.
