| Description: | Pouring a jeweled ruby hue, the 2019 Nerello Mascalese Centennial Mountain Vineyard brings forward sun-kissed aromas of wild cherry, tarry earth, and crushed flowers. Juicy up front, this medium-bodied red offers a lot of immediate pleasure, although it certainly has notable balanced structure, with ripe tannins, refreshing acidity that lifts off the palate with ease, and a snap of orange-tinged citrus on the finish. It's hard to resist now but should have a wide drinking window over the coming 8-10 years. |
