| Description: | Gold-standard Spätlese from classic Mosel producer. From 2014, the wine's also benefitting from some age for slowly developing smoke and petrol aromas. A small amount of botrytis in the grapes gives the wine an extra, honeyed richness with aromas of marmalade and dried fruit on top of ripe peach and passion fruit. As one would expect from the Mosel, the balance between acidity and sugar is pitch perfect. |
