| Description: | History,. Third-generation distiller Rommel Krassel produces aguardiente, rum made from 100% cane juice, at his family distillery in Santa Maria Tlalixtac, Oaxaca. After harvesting organically farmed Java, a cane varietal found at 2,800-3,500 feet above sea level in the region, this Single Cask expression was distilled using a 300-liter copper pot still and aged in highly toasted French Oak casks to produce a cask strength of just over 140 proof.
