| Description: | Here a more deeply pitched nose offers up notes of pepper and spice together with those of red currant, plum and earth. There is a bit more volume to the less refined middle weight flavors that culminate in a somewhat rustic and mildly warm finale that is once again ever-so-slightly drying. Like the Clos St. Jean, I suspect that this will eventually round into form but that is not a certainty. |
