For this one-time limited edition, he travelled across the world to Fiji, where he handpicked just 25 casks at Rum Co. of Fiji Distillery. In Plantation Rum's signature double-ageing technique, this unique expression is aged 10 years in Fiji, then shipped by sea to the south-west of France, where is matured another 3 years in French oak Ferrand casks. Distilled 100% in a pot still, this Fiji 2009 offers a particularly rich aromatic profile, heavier than traditional Fijian rums that blend both column and pot still distillates. An exquisite edition showcasing the exceptional savoir-faire of the distillery. |
