| Description: | The deep nose of amarena cherry, red roses and bitter chocolate pulls you into this rich, creamy and very concentrated Echezeaux. The tannins build impressively as this flows over the palate, the intense minerality neatly compensating for the low acidity and powering the long, structured finish. Needs some time for all this to completely integrate, but no doubt about the quality. From an almost 1-hectare plot in the upper section of this famous site. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024. |
