| Description: | 95 Vm / 94 Jd. (aged for 18 months in concrete tanks) Inky ruby. Highly fragrant black raspberry, boysenberry, violet pastille and Asian spice scents show outstanding clarity and pick up a smoky mineral quality with air. Deeply concentrated but vibrant as well, offering intense red and blue flavors that reach every corner of the palate. Suave floral and spicecake qualities emerge on an impressively long, subtly tannic finish that emphatically echoes the blue fruit note. Josh Raynolds – Vinous Media. The 2016 Perfectionist is a Syrah-dominated blend that includes 17% Mourvèdre and 9% Grenache that was brought up all in concrete. It's a supple, voluptuous effort that offers loads of black and blue fruits, ground herbs, earth, and peppery notes as well as a full-bodied, ripe, beautifully polished elegant style on the palate.
