| Description: | The eaux-de-vie that make up Monnet Xo Prestige mainly come from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, the two most prestigious crus of the Cognac region, and they are elegantly completed by Fins Bois cru. Similar to the salamander, the eaux-de-vie of this Xo have mastered the flames of the pot-still, to inherit mythical powers and exceptional qualities. They are then matured in oak casks in the Monnet cellars for substantially longer than legally required to obtain the Xo appellation. Color: Rich gold with red glints. On the nose: This complex blend marries liquorice, aromas of nuts and candied fruits. On the palate: Roundness, finesse and exceptional length. |
