| Description: | 93 points Decanter. Fragrant damson and violets, then raspberry and blueberry on the palate. Lovely sense of precision and direction. Acidity is quite marked, and does stand a little proud, but it's otherwise well-balanced. Good length, tapered finish. Lovely sense of precision and salinity. Fermented in concrete, aged in old barriques. (mw) (10/2020) 92 points Vinous. Ripe, spice-accented raspberry and cherry scents are complemented by hints of candied lavender and licorice. Seamless and focused on the palate, offering appealingly sweet cherry and red berry flavors that become deeper with air. Finishes vibrant, sweet and quite long, with a resonating raspberry note and chewy tannins that sneak in slowly. (jr) (10/2021). |
