| Description: | (100% aglianico; 6.5 g/l total acidity; 3.48 pH; 28.2 g/l dry extract; 12% alcohol): Bright, deep red with only a hint of amber at the rim; this has a very youthful color for its age! Enticing aromas of raspberry, flowers, tar and chocolatey oak. On the palate, blackberry and red cherry flavors are complicated by brown spices, marzipan and faded flowers. This sweet, lush, dense wine displays very good clarity and lift in spite of its ripe, thick texture, coming across as classy, creamy and pliant.
