| Description: | Isaac and his son Manuel Cantalapiedra are based in Rueda and work closely with the local grape, Verdejo. Their philosophy is as little intervention as possible, either in the vineyard or the winery. No sulfur is added during fermentation, which is followed by 8 months lees ageing. The result is a wine that's rich, waxy, and creamy, with a nutty, slightly oxidative quality that's well balanced by refreshing acidity and a chewy texture. |
