Aromas take a minute to come out with notes of blackberry, black plum, black cherry, violets, mesquite, vanilla, earth, and smoke. Continuing to the palate, additional flavors of wild raspberry, black pepper, black olive, spice, and charred wood. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, medium-chalky tannins, driving a medium body wine. Generous blend of fresh fruit, dried fruit, leather, and dry rub mesquite which equate to a medium intensity and lasts to a medium-plus finish. |
