| Description: | The soils are made up of limestone clay and the average vine age is 48 years old for this bottling. After 100% malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak casks, of which 10% is new with no bâtonnage. Aromatically this wine lifts from the glass with gluttonous notes of baked butter pastry, vanilla, cinnamon, and stewed apples. The palate is bold with flavors of orchard fruit, clotted cream, and a light dancing of lingering minerality. |
