| Description: | An aromatic red with notes of ripe blue fruit, fresh flowers, vanilla, licorice, chocolate and herbs. Medium-to full-bodied with a deep, viscous structure, firm tannins and mellow fruit. Firm finish with hints of savory blue fruit and hazelnuts. Some dried flowers, too. 60% malbec, 20% merlot, 10% cabernet sauvignon and 10% bonarda. Drink or hold. Harvested by hand in small batches. 15 days of fermentation between 25 and 28 Celsius. Aged for 14 months in new oak, then for 12 months in bottle before release. |
