| Description: | Cava is Spanish sparkling wine, made like French Champagne but usually made with indigenous Spanish varietals such as Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Paralleda. This Castellar is made of 40% Macabeo, 40% Parellada, and 20% Xarello. Casteller Cava is dry, crisp, clean and refreshing. This is a softer and more fruit driven version of Champagne. Hints of lime and other citrus, as well as green apple. The finish is light and delicate. 11.5% Alcohol by volume. |
