| Description: | VinoUS Media Review. Rated 90. The 2022 Syrah is dark and brooding, requiring coaxing to reveal an understated blend of lavender pastille, sweet smoke and black currants. This is soothingly round with ripe wild berry fruits and hints of spice, all lifted by juicy acidity. It tapers off with admirable length and is gently tannic, leaving a licorice tinge to fade slowly. This is a balanced effort with a solid core of fruit, yet it leaves me craving a bit more energy. Drinking Window 2024-2030. Wine Tasting Notes. Falcone Paso Robles Syrah shows bright aromas along with great structure. Our vines were farmed meticulously, maintaining the proper number of clusters for each individual shoot. This technique produces a very intense wine that captures the flavors of our site. Aromas of boysenberry and spice and a smokey accent dominate the wine, the flavor of blackberry and refined tannins round out the flavors and finish. 94% Syrah, 6% Petite Sirah. Alcohol 14.5% |
