Some of the biggest news from Piemonte in recent years has been Roberto Conterno's acquisition of Gattinara's venerable Nervi estate, adding its iconic vineyards to Francia, Cerretta and Arione as jewels in Piemonte's greatest crown. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees in tank for four months, this Rosato possesses haunting Nebbiolo perfume, bracing minerality and uncommon depth. Gently destemmed and crushed. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. Macerated for a minimum of 15 days following the completion of alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation following alcoholic fermentation, in cement vats. |
