Pure, polished, creamy, honeyed, and liqueur-like in fruit intensity on the palate with fascinating hints of citrus oils and brown spices this is almost implausibly rich, and yet it nevertheless exhibits the riveting brightness of a pole star, aligning all of its elements in a finish of astronomical length. Forty or 50 years does not seem an implausible life expectancy for this beauty, but in truth who can know?
