| Description: | Like most rosé Champagne, Roederer's Brut Rosé is more Pinot Noir than Chardonnay (60% Pinot/40% Chardonnay) and is made from all estate grown fruit. Wines from the reserve cellars are added to the cuvee, making this non-vintage wine a multi-vintage blend. The wine is aged a minimum of two years on the lees and a small amount (5%) Pinot Noir that has additional maceration on the skins is added to create the beautiful salmon color of the wine. This sparkler is rich, smooth and elegant. Lettie Teague of the Wall Street Journal says this "wine might well be mistaken for Champagne". |
