| Description: | Jeb Dunnuck 95-97 Points - "Another head-turning 2019 is the 2019 Clos Du Marquis. It's in the same league, if not better than the 2018, although the style is more focused and lively. Beautiful crme de cassis fruits, lead pencil, damp earth, and unsmoked tobacco notes define the bouquet, and it's medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, has building tannins, and a great finish. It shows more violet and floral tones with time in the glass and is still tight and focused on the palate. My best guess is a good 4-6 years of bottle age will be warranted and it's going to evolve for three decades." |
