| Description: | Boshu - the season for the 'Sowing of the Grain' - the 9th season out of 24 in the Japanese cycle of seasons. How appropriate for this very special whisky made at this tiny new artisan distillery located at the far eastern reaches of the remote northern island of Hokkaido. Distilled from malt that was peated with extremely rare peat sourced locally near the distillery, the spirit was aged in ex-Bourbon, ex-sherry, ex-red wine and mizunara casks prior to bottling at a natural strength of 55% abv. Very limited. |
