Our Jack's Masterpiece will typically come from many vineyard sources and appellations, but tends to be dominated by hillside fruit. The 2020 vintage includes fruit from our Montagna and Beller vineyards. The goal here is dark black fruit, power, chewy tannin, and a focused palate. The blend can be described as having blue and black fruits on the nose – blackberry, and black cherry with hints of wet stone or pencil lead. The palate is dark and brooding with dense tannin and structure. |
