| Description: | 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. Leading biodynamic producer for both Gigondas and Vacqueyras. The latter is often described as a more rustic version of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a polite way of saying the wines can be a bit dirty. We like a bit of funk in on our Rhône wines, and it's balanced by a ripe, smoky nose of strawberries and raspberries, pepper and cloves, with chewy, integrated tannins and lively acidity on the palate. Complex, layered, and nicely balanced. |
