| Description: | This is the second vintage release of Summer Dreams Sauvignon Blanc, and if making wine in Napa is likened to a heavyweight boxing match, winemaking in the Sonoma Coast is more like a Russian ballet. Crafted by Jayson Woodbridge (of Hundred Acre fame), this wine showcases the rugged and remote beauty of the Sonoma Coast and the sea-soaked weather that permeates every aspect of the growing season. A collection of wines that are unique to this special place in California. Fermented and aged in a mix of stainless, new oak and acacia barrels, this is exquisitely vivacious, playful, and energetic yet elegantly charged with Summer's vitality. White florals, candied ginger, sage, and apple mint, hint of lemon grass on the nose. The concentrated palate has dried Amalfi lemons, white peach, and key lime curd. Mineral laced and polished elegant roundness from aging on lees. |
