Description: | An old house purchased by this group in 2003, aged 30 months on the lees a blend of all three grapes a bit heavy on the 45% Pinot Noir, they buy from 60 different growers. A very fresh style with apple and lemon citrus fruit on the nose with hints of ginger spice and fresh biscuit. A very fresh and clean style on the palce with crisp green apple, lemon citrus and notes of ginger spice and pretty floral notes through the finish, chalky mineral notes. Finish 35+ Very Good +. Vinification. Blending : 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay. Terroir : Vinay, Damery, Ludes, Les Riceys, Serzy and Chouilly. Sugar content (in g/l) : 9. Reserve wine : 20%. Ageing in cellar : 3 years. Tasting Notes. Eye: A golden hue and delicate bubbles. Nose: Intense aromas of fresh fruit, typical of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Palate: Notes of fruit coupled with hints of buttery brioche. Pairing Notes. A champagne fit for aperitif. Springtime dishes and fresh vegetables. A generous terrine. |
