| Description: | Tor Kenward only produced about half of the typical volume in the challenging 2020 vintage. Old Wente Clone Chardonnay from the famous Hyde Vineyard in Carneros was picked just after the Lnu Complex fire in August, followed by a very gentle extraction, more so than is typical, but was necessary to ensure clean flavours. In the glass it offers an aromatics light show, with beams of vivid lemon, fresh cut tangerine, and a wash of white flowers and honeycomb, laced with vanilla and ginger spices. Round and creamy fruit with a lovely depth of flavour, and plenty of freshness leads to a beautiful lingering toasted almond note on the long and toasty oak finish.
