| Description: | Anne Pichon Roussanne VdP Vaucluse vineyards are cultivated using 100% organic practices without the use of any chemicals or pesticides and the soils are tilled manually. All harvesting is done by hand and each varietal is vinified separately. The Roussanne is chilled in small baskets and allowed to start a whole berry fermentation before a light pressing. Fermentation continues in both neutral and lightly toasted new oak barrels with frequent racking to extract as much fruit as possible. The wine is bottled after 9 months with no malolactic fermentation. The wine is rich and unctuous with lovely tropical and floral aromas. The oak imparts a creamy, nuttiness that is well integrated with the delicious fruit flavors. |
