Matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, the single malt is finished in Grahams Tawny Port pipes and 30 year old Apostoles sherry casks, with the lightest touch of exceptionally rare peated Dalmore. Tasting NOtes,. Nose: Manuka honey, crme brle and antique leather, with delicate tropical notes of pomegranate, guava and cherry blossom. Palate: Ripe figs, Seville oranges, forest fruits, passion fruit, lightly roasted Colombian coffee, fermented black limes and brioche. Finish: Fresh roasted chestnuts, sweet wood spices, dark cacao and Alphonso mangoes with a delicate whisper of herbal wood smoke. |
