Fratelli Alessandria Commune Di Verduno Barolo 1.5l

Fratelli Alessandria Commune Di Verduno Barolo 1.5l

Vintage: 2019
Description: Fratelli Alessandria's history in Barolo goes back to the mid 1800s with familial connection to the Burlottos. They age for around 3 long years in traditional, larger Slavonian and French oak vats, favoring a moderately pure expression of the fruit. This mix of vineyards is a supremely approachable introduction to the spirit of Verduno Barolos, as well as a taste of a vintage's character. In 2019, a consistently warm vintage that ended with a late harvest, the results are amplified with a particularly beautiful aromatic display. Wine Advocate 95 Points - "These village-specific wines are growing in popularity, and among the various expressions on the market today, this wine from Verduno is really quite special thanks to its highly distinctive floral aromas and its delicate sense of inner balance. A new project being inaugurated with this vintage, the Fratelli Alessandria 2019 Barolo del Comune di Verduno shows a fine, streamlined mouthfeel with polished tones of river stone, crushed rose and licorice root. The aromas are refined and fragile. This is a 20,000-bottle release."
