The "Trapio" wine is only made in exceptional years, it is sourced from 50-year-old vines, then hand sorted to choose the best clusters. Both red & black cherries are bright and vibrant for the wine's age, with secondary notes of vanilla, blackberries, plums and herbs. A perfect example of what a medium amount of age can do to a moderately priced wine. |
