| Description: | The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Colombis is the usual 100% Grenache that was brought up all in demi-muids. More dried strawberries, blackberries, loamy earth, spice, and hints of saddle leather emerge from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, has ripe tannins, and is just a heavenly Grenache in the making. I don't see it hitting the same heights as the 2007, but it's certainly up with the top players of the vintage. |
