| Description: | 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. After a 21 day maceration the grapes are transferred to age in 50% new oak and 50% stainless steel. This balance of aging techniques gives the wine toasty oak aromas with bitter chocolate, molasses, and dark fruits. Earthy flavors of leather, walnuts, and roasted beets are framed by a long dry finish. A Margaux that perfectly shows-off the ripe and accessible growing season of 2015. |
