| Description: | A juicy and medium bodied full of bright red berry fruits with an herbal edge. Manually harvested with no chemical fertilizers. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with post fermentation maceration on the skins for about 6 days with daily pump-overs. Named after the brothers (fratelli) Antonio and Raimondo Levis, who founded the winery in 1938. Both brothers were hearing impaired and used their wine as their form of expression with the driving philosophy "quality at any cost." After Raimondo passed, the Sartirano family took over the winemaking and continue to uphold their orignal ideals: Honest, classically styled wines. |
