This whiskey is the first whiskey to ever legally be distilled from Boston Lager, and its taste profile uncannily mirrors that from which it was distilled. Well, the apple does not fall far from the tree on this one. Toasted malt and caramel on the nose, with a floral quality reminiscent of green grape and lychee nut, probably a vestigial reminder of the perfectly blended hops used in making this beer.
