| Description: | Due to the sandy volcanic soils of Santorini these vines are pre-phylloxera and the vineyard is thought to be the oldest in Greece. Once the grapes are at the winery only 25% of the juice is extracted and the gross lees are removed immediately. A textbook example of the smoky, musty, minerality from Island growing regions. Smell marigold flowers, pear, tangerine, with sturdy acidity and a touch of lemon zest and flint. |
