| Description: | A delicious wine, with a lovely, bright black cherry fruit garnished with floral accents, a hint of spice and a note of smoke from the cask. The texture is medium-bodied and rich, but not heavy or astringent. A lovely, approachable wine. This tiny premier cru is located just below the winery of La Pousse d'Or in well-drained soils with lots of limestone pebbles, just north of Taillepieds. The fruit is completely destemmed, gently fermented and is ageing in 30% new casks. |
