This is every bit as good as the real thing, made from 65-year-old Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Carignan vines from just outside the appellation. Intense and concentrated, with raspberry, blackberry, smoke, and spice followed by dry, dusty tannins on the palate. If you're a Châteauneuf lover, you will adore this wine. |
