Malt Whisky Co Braces Of Glenlivet 53.5% Single Malt Scotch Whisky (special Order 1 Week)
Vintage: | 1994 |
---|---|
Description: | History,. Braes of Glenlivet was established by Chivas Brothers in 1973, but in 1994 it changed its name to Braeval to avoid confusion with Glenlivet. This whisky from Berry Brothers and Rudd might be one of the last casks produced under the distillery's old name. Matured in first-fill Bourbon barrel for 24 years. Nose: Plum sauce and roast duck, subtle mushroom and doughy/bready notes before coconuts, custard cream biscuits and sherbert. Palate: Waxy, fruit salad chewits, mangoes, lychee and passionfruit. Minty note after a while and then reminiscent of a cherry saison. Finish: Juicy, long confectionary notes such as marshmallows. |
