| Description: | Born in 1996, Tipopils is a landmark on the international brewing scene as the first dry-hopped pilsner, at least according to the brewery. They also say it "whispers of barley fields and hop gardens." Those are both bold claims, and yet on the first sniff of the crisp herbaceous aromas, and with the first splash of crisp malt sweetness washed by a fresh balancing bitterness, one can't help but agree. It's a damn fine beer, and on par with any of the best pils I've tasted. – ABV: 5.2% |
