| Description: | The Perrin family is considered the most quality-driven producer in the Rhône Valley. This Côtes du Rhône white is made of local grapes: Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier giving it a floral nose and delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit (apple and peach) and terrific freshness. The mouth is clean, rich and balanced with good minerality. These are all classic Rhône characteristics in white wine, and it is wonderful to serve with Mediterranean food, white fishes, bouillabaisse and dishes seasoned with saffron. Located on the fresh and light soils of Cairanne and Jonquières, the vineyard where this wine's grapes come from is situated between the rivers of Ouvèze and Aigues. Recent alluvial deposits of calcareous origin with variations according to the river path, clayey limestone fill the soils. This wine is very aromatic with hints of white fleshed fruit and flowers, good acidity with a fresh, savory character. |
