| Description: | Winemaker Jim Rickards' winery is located on the northern end of Alexander Valley in Sonoma County. While this Cabernet boasts dark berried fruits, there are tannins to add a solid backbone and making this a richer style of wine. Aged in French oak for two years, 30% of which was new. Our Reserve Cabernet is aged in 100% French oak barrels, with 50% new oak, for 18 months. The wine is balanced with a structure and age-worthiness which will continue to improve in bottle for the next 10+ years. |
