| Description: | 46% Carignan, 35% Zinfandel, 18% Petite Sirah from Ponzo Vineyard near Healdsburg in Russian River Valley. It's a traditional field blend and the grapes were weighed separately before being co-fermented. This gives the wine a charming rusticity, alongside its upfront fruit aromas of strawberry, blueberry, and black cherry, plus lots of spicy black pepper notes, followed by a mouthfilling palate with ripe tannins. Big, generous, and extremely tasty. |
