Booker's Limited Edition 30th Anniversary Straight Bourbon Whisky 750ml
Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: 30 years ago, my dad, Booker Noe, released the first batch of his namesake Booker's® Bourbon as his vision of what the perfect whiskey should be. In honor of Dad's legacy and in celebration of 30 years of the damn good whiskey he created, we're celebrating in the best way we know how - by releasing a special extra-aged, extremely limited Booker's Bourbon whiskey. It's hard to believe how long it's been since i watched Dad select the barrels that would make up the first - ever batch of Booker's Bourbon! When i took over as master distiller. Dad told me to never mess with his Booker's, and I'm proud to say that i haven't changed the recipe. While every bottle of Booker's bourbon is unique in it's own way, for these last 14 years I've been proud to uphold Dad's same standards for the brand and select taste profiles that i know Dad would have chosen himself. Booker's 30th Anniversary Bourbon marries a robust 9-year-old whiskey with one that was extra-aged for 16 years, giving the final whiskey a beautiful, rich chestnut color that reminds me of the horses that race in the Kentucky Derby each year. The nose of this batch is especially unique, almost like walking into the rack house where the barrels age, and offers oak aromas with some sweet notes from the extra time that the 16-year-old whiskey spent moving in and out of the white oak barrels. The taste profile of this batch is lighter than most batches of Brooker's, with a quick, dry finish that does not overpower your Palate. If Dad were here today, I'm sure he'd be celebrating 30 years of his Booker's Bourbon with a glass (or Two!) of this special batch in hand. Enjoy Booker's 30th Anniversary Bourbon neat or with a splash of water, and with friends and family as you reminisce over special memories of years gone by. This batch consists of barrels from these different floors in Warehouse H and E, Located on the grounds of our Clermont Distillery. The Breakdown of the barrels location s is as follows: Warehouse H floor:3 (12%) Warehouse H floor:4 (29%) Warehouse H floor:5 (11%) Warehouse E floor:5 (48%). Fred Noe.
