Rather, you want to sink down into its depths. So intense, yet so gentle at the very long finish. Drink or hold. Wine Advocate 90+ Points The 2021 Riesling Ried Zbinger Gaisberg 1tw displays a deep, complex nose of broken rock and ripe white fruit as well as yeasty notes. Juicy and somewhat sweet in the mouth, it's quite phenolic and a bit brittle and drying on the finish. It's a good but not great Riesling that is capable of development. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasted in Grafenegg in September 2022. Falstaff Magazine - 95 Points Bright green-yellow, silver reflections. Ripe yellow tropical fruit hints, delicate peach, some blossom honey, mineral undertones, inviting bouquet. Substantial, white stone fruit, fine acidity, lemony-salty finish, lingers, secure development potential. |
