| Description: | A smoking blend of 49% Viognier, 27% Roussanne, 15% Grenache Blanc and the rest Marsanne, the 2013 Cotes du Coast offers terrific richness and depth in its lemon curd, buttered citrus and honeycomb-styled bouquet. Medium to full-bodied and voluptuous on the palate, it nevertheless stays nicely focused and clean, with notable purity and freshness on the finish. Aged 18 months in 20% new French oak (with some in stainless steel), it's a food-friendly, beautifully made white that's well worth a multi-bottle purchase. |
