| Description: | Shiraz is quite the celebrity. The Barossa Valley created and is still home to the greatest Shiraz in the world. With alluring exotic spice and vibrant fruit flavors of red plum and fresh blackberry, Barossa Valley Estate Shiraz captures us with its striking presence, bold but elegant style, leaving an indelible impression. Pairs perfectly with steak, lamb, beef, game, bearnaise and peppercorn sauces. Technical notes Vineyard blocks were harvested and vinified separat ely. Fruit was destemmed and transferred into fermentation tanks for pre-fermentation maceration, then fermented at controlled temperatures for up to seven days to retain the elegant and vibrant varietal characters and create soft tannin structure. Upon completion of fermentation, the wine was racked and underwent malolactic fermentation. It was then aged for a period of months in French oak barrels to impart a softness and texture, and enhance bouquet, varietal character, elegance, and structure.
