| Description: | Tasting Note. Serena Sutcliffe, MW: 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc. A wonderful, warm spicy nose of class. This coats the mouth, positively blooming with cedary perfumes right through to the finish. Blackberry notes, opulence and all-enveloping length. Jamie Ritchie: Intense blackcurrant fruit coats the mouth, with good concentration, volume, weight and richness. Harmonious and balanced, with everything well proportioned. A classic Léoville Barton, but with a little more concentration and exuberance. Smoky, tobacco, blackcurrant finish. Very attractive and enjoyable. |
