| Description: | Curiously the 2010 Corullon at this stage of development shows the effect of the wood-aging more than the younger 2011. Right now it is a lot more restrained than the 2011. You have to deep-dive into the glass to understand the wine. The fruit is more acidic strawberry, denoting freshness. It is linear rather than round, acute rather than low with superb balance and delineation, fine acidity and very good length. You really have to pull out the wine, as the palate follows the same pattern as the nose, which is not always the case. With wonderful acidity, it is a wine for the long haul. Drink 2015-2025. |
