Description: | 97 Vm / 97 Fs / 96+ Jd / 96 Wa / 96 Ws / 96 Wi / 95 We. The 2014 Rosé La Grande Année is airy, gracious and full of energy. Crushed rocks, white pepper, red berry, mint and blood orange lend striking aromatic intensity and presence. Finely cut and taut, the Rosé is nervy Champagne that needs time to come together. The Rosé is blended from a base of the Blanc plus 5% still red Pinot from Bollinger Coteaux des Enfants vineyard in Aÿ. Perhaps because of its later disgorgement vis-à-vis the Blanc, the Rosé is a bit tight today. Disgorged:August, 2021. Dosage: 8grams per liter. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Medium salmon pink with silver reflections and a fine persistent mousse. Subtle hint of red wild berries, pickled cherry, subtle smokey nuances, delicately backed with bakery. Substantial and elegant, white apple fruit, mineral, taut core, a touch of fresh pear on the finish, zesty lime touch on the finish, very racy yet complex style, good certain ageing potential.
